Description
Agave Americana Mediopicta ‘Aurea’
Agave Americana Mediopicta ‘Aurea’ is a stunning species of agave native to Mexico. This show-stopper features large, wide-spreading rosettes of bright yellow-green, wavy-edged foliage; each leaf has a pointed tip and a prominent mid-rib that adds texture and interest. Like all agaves, this species is a low-maintenance, drought tolerant perennial and is a great choice for modern xeriscape gardens or can be mass planted in rock gardens. It is also an ideal choice for adding striking colors and texture to containers and will thrive in sunny locations with well-drained soil.
