Hoya kerrii is a species of tropical evergreen vine from the Apocynaceae family. Native to Southeast Asia, it is commonly referred to as the ‘Sweetheart Plant’ due to its heart-shaped leaves. The leaves are typically bright green with a waxy surface, and they can get up to 4 inches wide. It is an easy-to-care-for houseplant and can be grown in a hanging pot or trained up a trellis. It also produces clusters of small, star-shaped pink flowers that will bloom throughout the year if the plant is kept warm and well-watered.
