Description
Hemerocallis fulva- L., commonly known as the orange daylily, is a species of flowering plant in the daylily family. It is native to Asia, but has been widely cultivated and naturalized in many parts of the world. This daylily species produces showy orange-red flowers with yellow throats on tall stems. Its blooms last only one day, but the plant produces many buds and blooms in succession throughout the summer. It is a very hardy and low-maintenance plant, and can be grown in many different soils and climates. It is a popular garden plant for its bright blooms and easy care requirements.
