1. Place African Violets in a location with bright indirect light. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight as this can cause the leaves to become scorched.

2. African Violet plants prefer temperatures that range between 18-24 degrees Celsius during the day, and 12-15 degrees Celsius at night.

3. Keep African Violets consistently moist, but not soggy. Water the plants from the top and allow the excess water to drain away.

4. Feed African Violets with a balanced fertilizer that contains equal parts nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Feed the plants every two weeks during the growing season.

5. Prune African Violets to remove any dead or wilted leaves. This will help encourage new growth and to maintain the shape of the plant.

6. Repot African Violets when they become root bound. This should be done every 2-3 years using a potting soil specifically designed for African Violets.

7. Check your African Violets regularly for pests such as scale, mites and mealybugs. If you find any pests, treat the plant with a pesticide specifically designed for African Violets.
