About This Plant
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Tillandsia Tillandsia are the famous “air plants” — epiphytic bromeliads that grow without soil, instead absorbing water and nutrients through tiny scales on their leaves called trichomes. Native to the forests, deserts and mountains of the Americas, they cling to trees, rocks and telephone wires in the wild. In cultivation they are the ultimate design-versatile plant: displayed in glass globes, mounted on driftwood, nestled in shells, or arranged in terrariums, they create stunning living art installations. They are genuinely care-free — requiring only misting or soaking a few times a week. In India’s humid coastal zones they thrive with minimal intervention; in drier inland cities they benefit from more frequent misting.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Q: Does Tillandsia really need no soil?
A: Correct — air plants absorb all moisture and nutrients through their leaves. No soil or pot is needed.
Q: How do I water an air plant?
A: Either mist 2–3 times a week with water, or soak the entire plant in water for 20–30 minutes weekly. After soaking, shake off excess water and allow to dry upright within 4 hours.
Q: Can my air plant die from too much water?
A: Yes — the base must dry out within 4 hours of soaking. If the base stays wet it can rot. Always dry upside down or at an angle after soaking.
Q: How do I display my air plant?
A: Mount on cork, driftwood, or wire; place in glass terrariums or geometric holders; nest in seashells; simply set on a shelf. The possibilities are endless.

Wow 😲😳 the seller provided the correct plant and that too in the flowering stage 🤩 I was suspicious if I will receive the correct plant. But they sent it. It was well packed and is quite healthy and beautiful. As soon as you open it and reveal the plant, the first thing that comes out of your mouth is “wow” 🥰☺️. And it seems there is a new pup also emerging from center. Hope it thrives well in my garden.
