About This Plant
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Alpinia zerumbet “Variegata” (Variegated Shell Ginger) is a stunning tropical ornamental ginger prized for its large, lance-shaped leaves with beautiful yellow and green striped variegation. Unlike standard Shell Ginger with plain green leaves, the Variegata form offers year-round tropical splendour with dramatically patterned foliage. Mature plants produce cascading clusters of waxy shell-pink and white flowers with yellow and red interiors — adding floral beauty to the already spectacular foliage display. An outstanding plant for tropical garden beds, large containers, and lush landscape planting.
