Gymnocalycium Saglionis is a species of cactus from the family Cactaceae. It is native to Argentina and is also known as the “Ribbon Cactus”. This species has a globular shape and typically grows to a height of anywhere between 5-15 cm. It features a deep green colored body with white-yellow spines along the ridges. This cactus is also known for its large, bright-red flowers that bloom in the summer. Gymnocalycium Saglionis is a popular houseplant and is relatively easy to care for. It thrives in bright, warm, and dry environments with plenty of sunlight, and requires minimal watering.
