About This Plant
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Haworthia Zebra Haworthia is a genus of compact, rosette-forming succulents native to South Africa, prized by collectors worldwide for their extraordinary diversity of form. Unlike most succulents, Haworthias are adapted to grow in the dappled shade beneath shrubs and rocks, making them uniquely suited to bright indirect indoor light — a quality that sets them apart from most of their sun-loving relatives. Their leaves range from translucent and windowed (in the famous H. cooperi and H. cymbiformis types) to hard, warty and spine-edged (as in H. limifolia and H. attenuata). The variegated forms add streaks of cream, white and gold to the rosette, making them genuine living sculptures. They grow slowly but last for decades.
