Mustard oil cake is what remains after mustard seed is pressed for oil, milled here into a fast-acting powder. It is a nitrogen-rich organic feed that also improves soil texture and feeds soil life, releasing steadily over roughly eight weeks.

How to use

• Potted plants: Mix 1–2 tablespoons into the top layer of soil, then water.
• Garden beds: Roughly 100 g per square metre, forked in lightly.
• Liquid feed: Steep in water for 2–3 days, strain, and dilute before use.
• Frequency: Once every 6–8 weeks through the growing season.

Suitable for flowering plants, fruit trees, vegetables and lawns.
